How this works
Reviews, Remarks, and Roundups is a frequently updated newsletter split into three different categories as the title outlines! For now, Reviews will be posted frequently and spread across music, theatre, television, film and literature. Remarks (also known as features - I just wanted something alliterative) will appear as and when they are ready - these will be significantly longer and research-informed. Roundups will go out on the last Friday of every month and will sum up everything I’ve been up to. Maybe the format of this will change as the newsletter grows but for now, I hope you enjoy!

Hello! My name is Sean and I am a freelance writer and theatre maker. I graduated in 2018 with a degree in Journalism, Media, and Culture but for a plethora of reasons, didn’t feel ready to try and “make it” in the media industry. As a result, I have spent the last four years building a career in the education sector whilst keeping my writing somewhat of a secret up until last year. That is when my debut play ‘I Am Steven Gerrard’ won a competition and managed to complete a six-performance sold out run in Liverpool. I found that this experience reignited my love of writing and put me back in the mindset of returning to my original career aspirations. So here we are! I hope you join me in seeing where this goes.
